Agency Red Flags — guide visual

Agency Red Flags

The clauses and behaviors that should end a conversation with any agency — including questions to ask us.

They want your payouts routed through them

If an agency needs your money to pass through its accounts, it has leverage over you that no contract language can undo. Payouts should land in your name, in your accounts — always.

Long lock-ins and exit penalties

Hostage clauses, multi-year terms, and penalties for leaving exist to make staying painful rather than worthwhile. A confident agency keeps you with results and lets the exit be ordinary paperwork.

Vague reporting

If you cannot see messages sent in your name, an access log, and an itemized statement, you do not have a partner — you have a black box with your name on it.

Ask us the same questions

Who owns the accounts? (You.) Where do payouts land? (Your accounts.) What does the rate include? (Everything listed on our Pricing page.) How do I leave? (Settle the itemized ledger of fronted costs, then 30 days' notice.) Any agency that resents these questions has answered them.

Now compare us against the guide.
